Our Story
Ihima Elites Initiative (I E I) is a group of Ihima indigenes who came together primarily to help with the development of our homeland, "IHIMA,” and foster unity among its people and the community in general. In the past, Ihima has witnessed avoidable violence that led to the destruction of lives and properties that till date is yet to fully recover.
The carnage almost swallowed the unity and peaceful coexistence that had characterized the town and its people. Prior to the initiative, members of the group usually organized an end of year get-together that includes a party popularly called Old School in which we invite old friends that we could reach to attend. It was always a huge success. These successes led us to consider formalizing it into a group with purpose later that year.
This led to the creation of WhatsApp group that gave birth to what we call Ihima Elite Initiative on July 12th, 2016.

3 days of medical outreach.
• 30th December:
Annual General Meeting football competition.
All-night party (get together) to wrap up the year’s activities.
